A man from North Huntingdon is accused of taking money from three people who registered their children for a lacrosse training camp and never holding it. The Trib reports that 46-year-old Christopher Langlais is charged with taking $2,350 from the trio and failing to pay a $1,200 rental fee to Seton Hill University to use a field there, according to court papers. The three people who reported their money being stolen said their children previously had private skills lessons with Langlais at the university. Langlais is charged with four counts of theft by deception and a single count of receiving stolen property. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 26. Langlais is free on $10,000 unsecured bond.
