FEDEX DRIVER ACCUSED OF STEALING PACKAGES

A local FedEx driver is accused of stealing packages in Westmoreland County.  Authorities say that Mohammad Hat Alshamasin failed to deliver a number of packages containing electronics.  An investigation of the thefts began with a Greensburg-area man who reported to police in October that he had not received an Apple iPhone.  Alshamasin was arrested as the result of a December sting operation.  He is charged with unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
