LOCAL OFFICIALS TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER NEW SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL IN LOWER BURRELL

Local officials are trying to put together a new summer music festival in Lower Burrell.  Carley Logan with the city’s parks and recreation commission is spearheading the effort, with plans to hold the event at Kotecki Memorial Park on July 12th of this year.  Logan has a planning meeting scheduled for this Wednesday evening at Lower Burrell City Hall.  She is trying to find a couple of qualified volunteers who can serve as the festival’s logistics manager and sponsorship chair.
