A Murrysville ambulance driver was injured as he was transporting a patient from Plum Friday evening. The Trib reports that the driver, who was not named in the report, was going south on Route 286 toward Monroeville with a patient aboard when the ambulance collided with a vehicle crossing Route 286 from Old Frankstown Road. Officials said a Plum EMS ambulance arrived and finished the medical transport, and the patient did not suffer any injuries as a result of the crash, while the Murrysville man was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
