WILKINSBURG WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER CHASE THROUGH NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP

A Wilkinsburg woman was arrested after leading police on a chase through residential areas of North Huntingdon Township.  The Trib reports that 27-year-old Magdalena Ludwig is charged with fleeing police, resisting arrest and several drug-related crimes for the pursuit that started n Pitcairn and moved into Irwin, North Huntingdon and Adamsburg around 1:30 p.m.  Police said that speeds reached 80 miles an hour at points and the pursuit stemmed from multiple warrants out for Ludwig’s arrest..  Numerous drugs were found in the car after police caught up with her.  A preliminary hearing is set for January 31st.  She is currently in Westmoreland County Prison.
