ROSTRAVER MAN SENTENCED UP TO 80 YEARS IN PRISON

A Westmoreland County Judge yesterday sentenced a Rostraver man to up to 80 years in prison in connection with a road rage incident on New Year’s Day in 2022 that left a woman dead.  The Trib reports that 29-year-old Anthony Hairston of Belle Vernon was sentenced for the killing of 59-year-old Holly Vadella, who was driving home slowly on New Year’s Day when he fired two shots into her driver’s side window to kill her.  On top of the 20-to-40 year prison sentence for murder, he was also sentenced to consecutive terms of prison for illegal gun possession, tampering with evidence and drug-related crimes.
