A South Greensburg man accused of assaulting a hunter in a private field last year is seeking dismissal of the charges. The Trib reports 33-year-old Cody Ostrosky was originally charged last summer with misdemeanor shooting at a human while hunting and illegal hunting for the incident on December 4th that resulted in another hunter being wounded. Police said that Ostrosky mistook another man for a coyote and shot at him. His attorney, Jeffrey Leonard, is seeking to have the aggravated assault charge dismissed, saying that prosecutors can’t prove Ostrosky never intended to injure the victim.
