CHARGES FILED AGAINST TWO GRANDMOTHERS

Charges are being filed against a pair of Westmoreland County women accused of abusing their grandson.  Mary Shroyer and Elma Ritenour allegedly denied the ten-year-old boy food, made him sit for long periods of time and — at times — would not allow him to go to the restroom.  Charges against the women include endangering the welfare of children and aggravated assault.
