Westmoreland County will move some funds around to help improve access to low income homes over the next 20 months. The Trib reports that the county commissioners yesterday approved reallocating $200,000 to cover additional costs for ADA projects as part of the county’s Whole Home Repair program started in 2023, including installation of outside ramps and chairlifts for disabled low-income homeowners. The originally $102,000 out of the $1.6 million in ARP funds set aside for such projects has already been exhausted.
