ROSTRAVER MAN’S DISMISSAL OF CHARGES DENIED

A request to dismiss charges against a Rostraver man accused of seuxally assaulting an unconscious woman was denied by a Westmoreland County Judge yesterday. The Trib reports that 34-year-old Nathaniel Johnson will be tried in county court after Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Mears ruled there was enough evidence for a trial. He is charged with rape and other crimes based on accusations from a 29-year-old woman who claimed she was drugged and sexually assaulted last August. A trial date has not been set.
