FLASHING BEACON TO BE INSTALLED AT JEANNETTE INTERSECTION

PennDOT is looking to provide plenty of advance warning for motorists to stop at the Jeannette intersection of Lewis Avenue and Park Street.  The Trib reports that a flashing beacon will be installed to alert approaching drivers of the all-way stop at the intersection.  Work is expected between Spring and Fall of 2026.  The agency is also making the plans available on their website, Penndot.pa.gov/district12.
