Construction of the terminal building extension at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport is now three months behind schedule. The Trib reports that delays in the delivery of domestic steel needed for the project was supposed to arrive earlier this spring but is now not expected to be on site until July. So far, crews have poured the foundation and installed electrical lines and plumbing as part of the first phase of the project. Construction is expected to pick back up after the steel is delivered, and completion could be in March of next year.
