Westmoreland County and a disabled caseworker have settled a wrongful termination lawsuit. The Trib reports that Commissioners voted yesterday to pay $7500 to settle the lawsuit filed by Sean Lally, a former children’s bureau caseworker who claimed he was improperly fired after one month on the job. Court documents said that his firing was justified and denied that his disability was a factor, but Lally claimed he was fired because supervisors were uncomfortable around him because he had a prosthetic leg.
