PORTION OF ROUTE 130 CLOSURE STARTING TODAY

A portion of Route 130 will be closed to traffic starting today as crews start landslide repairs in Penn Township.  The Trib reports that the work zone will be just west of Jeanette between 14th Street and Burrell Hill Road.  A detour has been posted, using portions of Bushy Run Road, Business 66 and Oakford Park Road.  This is one of four landslide areas that PennDOT District 12 will work on over the next 15 months, with the other three located in Washington County.  This project is expected to wrap up in late August.
