A retired Greensburg police officer involved in a drug conspiracy case was sentenced this morning in federal court. The Trib reports 52-year-old Regina McAtee of New Kensington pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in May of last year. Prosecutors said she worked with former police chief Shawn Denning between November of 2020 and January of 2023 to order and pay for drugs from online suppliers. She will serve 36 months of probation. US District Judge Cathy Bissoon said that while the crime was a serious one, she was being given a break.
