A Greensburg woman was ordered to spend up to 20 years in prison for trying to kill her 8-year-old daughter in October of 2022. WTAE-TV reports that 32-year-old Skye Naggy was convicted of kidnapping and trying to kill her daughter. Naggy claimed her actions were caused by a belief that she was protecting her daughter from a perceived threat. Police found the two in a wooded area near the Loyalhanna Dam with a bible on October 25th of 2022, and found the child had overdosed on fentanyl. The girl has since recovered. On top of the prison time, she will serve five years of probation.
