MONROEVILLE POLICE LOOKING FOR DERRY WOMAN WHO SKIPPED COURT HEARINGS

Police in Monroeville are looking for a Derry woman who skipped court hearings after a 2023 drug arrest.  The Trib reports that Leann M. Wechtenhiser was arrested after a rear-end crash near the U-Haul store on Route 22 that she allegedly fled from.  When she was finally picked up, she told police that she had no car insurance and was on her way to buy drugs, and police found 19 bags of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia.  Anyone with information is asked to call Monroeville police at 412-856-1111 or submit a tip on the PA Crimewatch website.
