BELLE VERNON MAN SENTENCED FOR FAILING TO PAY EMPLOYMENT TAXES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS

A Belle Vernon man was ordered to serve two and a half years in federal prison for failing to pay employment taxes for illegal aliens.  The Trib reports 28-year-old Andy Ha ran Prosperity Services, Inc., but investigators say that he provided employment, housing and transportation for over 25 people who were illegally in the United States.  He also provided false information to his tax preparer   He pleaded guilty in February to two charges.
