EAST HUNTINGDON NURSING HOME GOING UP FOR AUCTION

An East Huntingdon nursing home will be one of six facilities in the Western PA region going up for auction this year.  The Trib reports that Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center will be auctioned off in September along with facilities in Jefferson, Clearfield, McKean, Allegheny and Beaver counties.  The nursing homes were owned by Bonamour Health Group, based in Clairton, and were put into a court-ordered receivership last year after the company filed for protection under U.S. bankruptcy laws. According to court records, Bonamour defaulted on a $30.5 million loan it secured in 2022.
