WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONFIRM FIRING COUNTY TAX OFFICE DIRECTOR

Westmoreland County Commissioners have confirmed that they are firing the director of the county tax office at an upcoming meeting.  The Trib reports that Sarah Minnick has been on unpaid suspension since mid-June.  The firing is a part of a list of personnel actions to be approved at their Thursday meeting.  Commissioners did not say why they are firing Minnick, and she has not commented on the issue.
