New Kensington Council has approved taking out a loan for street paving projects for this year and next. The Trib reports that the $1.19 million loan agreement is with the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Bank, which is designed to provide low-interest loans and lines of credit to help with transportation projects. Thirteen streets are on the list of potential roads to be paved with the money. The repayment period on the loan is 10 years with an annual payment of $146,311
