Two people died Saturday in a crash in Washington Township. The Trib reports that the accident happened at 1:00 PM near the intersection of Route 66 and Paradise Drive. 67-year-old Janice Ciorra of Washington Township was going North on 66 when she veered into the path of 63-year-old Cynthia Ament of Elizabeth. Ciorra was taken to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, where she died from her injuries. Ament was pronounced dead at the scene. Route 66 was closed until about 5:15 p.m. between Paradise Drive and Turack Road.
