A Southwest Greensburg man was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty to his part in the death of his 8-month-old son. The Trib reports that 40-year-old Jason Ludwig pleaded guilty on Monday to a felony count of child endangerment and misdemeanor charges of obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence. Prosecutors say Ludwig was left to watch his three children at their home in Mt. Pleasant on July 20th of 2023 when he fell asleep on the couch with the infant. When he woke up, the child was dead, and he rearranged the scene to make it look like it died while sleeping in his crib. He will serve 10 years on probation for his guilty plea.
