An East Huntingdon man charged with an attack on election day in 2021 at a Westmoreland County Voting Precinct has been sent back to jail amid accusations of new threats. The Trib reports 38-year-old Zachary Lambing of Alverton is awaiting trial on charges of simple assault and other crimes in connection with the alleged attack that came after the victim, who was campaigning at the polls, confronted Lambing. While free on bond, authorities said he continued to threaten the same woman and her family through posts on social media. A judge on Tuesday ordered Lambing to be taken into custody to await a hearing on a prosecution’s request to revoke bond.
