JEANNETTE WOMAN FACES CHILD ENDANGERMENT AND AGGRAVATED CRUELTY TO ANIMALS CHARGES

A Jeannette woman is facing charges of child endangerment and aggravated cruelty to animals after an investigation last Thursday revealed the children and animals were living in deplorable conditions at the suspect’s home on Bullitt Avenue.  The Trib reports that 44-year-old Terry Harmon was served a search warrant after children living there revealed the presence of a dead dog on the front porch.  Another dog that appeared emaciated was found in the home.  The home itself was flea-infested and had a foul odor.  The children were removed and are in the care of another adult.  Harmon is in jail after failing to post a $10,000 percentage bond  A preliminary hearing is set for September 4th.
