The Westmoreland County Housing Authority board approved the budget for next year. The Trib reports that spending for the budget tops out at $17.1 million for the next fiscal year, which starts October 1st. Rent payments from tenants are expected to account for about $5.5 million of revenue. Potential federal cuts were not included in the budget, but if spending levels are changed, the budget could be altered.
