A Jeannette man who state police owned the car involved in a fatal hit-and-run is facing charges of resisting arrest. The Trib reports that James Grady II was identified as the owner of the Kia Rio that hit and killed bicyclist Jaden Lynch on July 31st. When police went to his home on August 1st, they had to force their way in the house after getting no response and tried to avoid being handcuffed. No charges have been filed in connection with the fatal crash, but Grady is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
