GREENSBURG MAN FACES CHARGES

A Greensburg man faces charges after state police said a 4-year-old child was hit by a car on Route 119 in July.  The Trib reports that 42-year-old Andre Stanford is charged with child endangerment and obstruction in connection with the incident.  He and four children were walking along the side of the road in Hempfield near Lynch Field around 2:30 PM.   The child ran out into the street and was hit by a Cadillac Deville. Troopers said Stanford picked him up off the road and took him home. Police and EMS were not called to the scene.
