An Ohio man pleaded guilty to a reduced charge in a fatal car crash in 2023 in Salem Township. The Trib reports that 24-year-old Ricardo Hardy, Jr. entered a plea to involuntary manslaughter three counts of reckless endangerment and seven traffic offenses in connection to the July 25, 2023, crash near the intersection with Routes 22 and 819. Police said that his SUV rear-ended a tractor-trailer causing a three-vehicle collision. 16-year-old Jacob Holman was killed, while others were injured. Hardy was ordered to serve five years of probation, including 18 months of house arrest.
