A New Kensington man was charged Thursday with providing drugs that killed two people two days apart. The Trib reports that 29-year-old Davi J. Roman was charged in connection with the death of his girlfriend, 27-year-old Shaunna Thomas of Jeannette in a New Ken home on September 26th 2023. He was taken into custody that day and the grand jury presentment indicates that evidence showed he smuggled drugs into jail, and distributed them to seven others. One of the people, 33-year-old Terry Brumley, Jr. died on the 28th. Roman was denied bail and a preliminary hearing is set for October 7th.
