FILMING IN VANDERGRIFT STARTS TODAY

Filming for an Apple TV series in Vandegrift will get underway today.  The Trib reports that the series “Paralax” was originally set to film yesterday.  No word was given by the production company about the delay.  In a letter addressed to residents, the crew said the filming would result in temporary no-parking zones from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout chunks of downtown, mostly around Washington, Grant and Columbia avenues.  Intermittent road closures between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. will also be in place in the same areas as well as 11th Avenue and 12th and Third streets.  Some locals will be used as extras.
