A Derry Township man was convicted by a Westmoreland County Jury for causing a vehicle crash that injured a passenger in 2019. The Trib reports that 61-year-old Robert Mayer was found guilty of aggravated assault by vehicle and causing an accident while driving without a license and three drunk-driving-related offenses for the crash on November 6th of 2019 at the intersection of Routes 30 and 981 in Unity. Mayer and his passenger were hurt in the crash. A sentencing hearing will be held in three months.
