A man is in custody after three young children tested positive for cocaine in their system. WTAE-TV reports that authorities received a Childline report that 30-year-old Josiah Hughes left three children between the ages of 1 and 5 alone at a home on Woodmont Avenue in Arnold in deplorable conditions. The three were taken in by caseworkers and tested positive for the drug when they were examined at Children’s Hospital. Hughes is facing three felony charges of endangering the welfare of children. He is expected to be in court later this month.
