ONE PERSON KILLED IN CRASH

One person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Unity Township on Saturday. The Trib reports that the crash happened at the intersection of Route 30 and Wimmerton Boulevard at 6:20 PM. Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson said that 43-year-old Brandon Shea was killed after his bike was hit by a car while the car was turning left onto Route 30. Shea was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
