DEMOLITION OF NORWIN FOOTBALL STADIUM TO BEGIN NEXT MONTH

Demolition on the Norwin football stadium is slated to begin next month as long as fall sports teams are not using the field.  The Trib reports that work on the stadium is expected to wrap up in the summer of 2027, forcing teams to find alternate locations for the 2026 and 2027 school years.  Plans are to rebuild the home-side grandstand and renovate the bleachers on the visitors side.  The project is expected to cost $25.4 million.
