U.S. STEEL CLAIRTON PLANT MOVING FORWARD AFTER AUGUST EXPLOSION

More than two months after a deadly explosion at US Steel’s plant in Clairton, the company is moving forward.  Two people were killed and ten others were injured after an August blast that US Steel says happened  during maintenance activities involving a gas isolation valve. The company says they will be restarting coke battery 14 today.
