HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP AUCTIONS SURPLUS EQUIPMENT

Hempfield Township officials say over $180,000 in proceeds from an online auction of surplus equipment.  The Trib reports over 66,000 people took a look at the online auction that Hempfield supervisors set up for items like trucks, firefighting equipment, traffic signals, kitchen appliances, chairs and reflector lamps.  There were 3,151 registered bidders, 56 of whom won auctions. The township designated 118 items for the auction, which ended last week.
