WESTMORELAND COUNTY FOOD BANK RECEIVES EMERGENCY GRANT

The Westmoreland County Food Bank has received a $75,000 emergency grant to help feed hungry residents.  The Trib reports that the money comes from the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County and is being used to assist the bank amid the SNAP funding freeze.  The grant will be used to purchase two weeks worth of meals.  Additional donations are being solicited for the Food Bank.
