Volunteers helped clean up a New Kensington cemetery to help pay tribute to veterans. The Trib reports that as part of the cleanup of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington’s cemetery outside of Logans Ferry Presbyterian Church,, a civil war veteran received a new headstone. Volunteers from Senior Helpers, Veterans First, the Junior ROTC program at New Kensington School District, the Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunners softball team and both churches assisted with the cleanup effort.
