WILKINSBURG MAN FACES HOMICIDE CHARGES IN CONNECTION WITH WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP CASE

A Wilkinsburg man is now facing homicide charges in connection with a case in Washington Township.  The Trib reports that 66-year-old Jacqueline Pryber was found dead outside a home in the 2500 block of Turkey Ridge Road on Monday.  Detectives with the Westmoreland County DA’s office requested the aid of the Allegheny County Police Department’s homicide unit and that investigation found that 62-year-old Shawn Higgins allegedly hit Pryber multiple times while in a vehicle in Plum borough, and drove around for several days with the body covered in blankets in the front seat before dumping the body  Higgins is now in Allegheny County Jail.
