HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS APPROVE ADDVERTISING 2026 BUDGET

Hempfield Township Supervisors have approved advertising a budget for next year that doubles property taxes.  The Trib reports that the proposed three-mill increase would fund the fire department and reallocate the existing $1.6 million in tax money to other uses.  Taxes have not increased in the township since 1990.  The budget will be up for final approval in December.
