SPRINGDALE POLICE CHARGE MONESSEN MAN WITH SHOOTING

Police in Springdale charged a Monessen man with a shooting at a borough business Saturday night.  The Trib reports that 22-year-old Armando Antonio Diaz was charged with robbery, theft, aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment, and firearms offenses connected with the incident outside of the From Italy store 11:45 PM Saturday.  While 24 shots were filed, there were no injuries reported  The shooting stemmed from a fight between Diaz and another man.
