GREENSBURG BOROUGH COUNCIL BUDGET HOLDS THE LINE ON PROPERTY TAXES

Greensburg Borough Council has passed a budget that holds the line on property taxes.  The Trib reports that this comes as there is a $2.6 million drop in assessed property value for the area.   Money was moved around in the budget to make up the shortfall.  Property taxes hold steady at 27.95 mills and the budget comes to $13.4 million.
