A house that caught fire in Hempfield Township yesterday is now considered a total loss. Emergency crews responded to the property on Hopi Drive shortly after 9 a.m. Hempfield Township Fire Chief Anthony Kovacic says the first floor collapsed near the entrance of the house, forcing firefighters to take a defensive approach to the blaze. No injuries were reported. The State Police Fire Marshal is looking into what sparked the flames.
