GREATER LATROBE SCHOOL BOARD ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT

The Greater Latrobe School Board has elected a new board president at their reorganization meeting.  The Trib reports that Yelanya Rossi was named the new president of the board after Andrew Repko declined a nomination to return to the position.  The board also has a new solicitor as Gary Matta takes over for the outgoing Ned Nakles.  This came after a an extended argument among board members over the firm’s billing and if the public was given proper notice of the agenda item in accordance with the state Sunshine Act.
