Pennsylvania American Water is urging water conservation following a drought watch. The utility company is asking customers in the drought watch area to voluntarily reduce non-essential water usage by 10-to-15 percent. The Department of Environmental Protection has declared a drought watch in 17 counties served by PAW, The company said it currently has an adequate supply of water to meet the needs of customers, but wants to be prepared in case conditions worsen.
