INCREASED POLICE PRESENCE AT ROSTRAVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TODAY

There will be an increased police presence at Rostraver Elementary School today due to apparent threats.  The Trib Reports that officials at Belle Vernon School District reported the apparent threats.  In a letter to the district’s community, Superintendent Timothy Glasspool said the increased police presence is out of an abundance of caution while police investigate the reported threats.  The district learned of the threats through the Safe2Say Something platform.  Superintendent Timothy Glasspool said that the threats were made on a social media platform and/or a large group chat after the school day.
