ONE PERSON IN CUSTODY AFTER IRWIN SHOOTING

One person is in custody after a shooting late last night in Irwin. WTAE-TV reports that the shooting happened around 11:30 PM the 3000 block of Sweetbriar Drive. Officers were seen at the Village of Easton Apartments. Irwin’s police chief says the shooting may be accidental. A suspect is in custody in the Westmoreland County Jail. No word if anyone was hurt in the incident.
