ARNOLD MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING INMATE AT WESTMORELAND COUNTY COURTHOUSE

An Arnold man was charged with assaulting another inmate in a Westmoreland County Courthouse holding cell on Friday.  The Trib reports that 33-year-old Devon Bayne is accused of injuring 39-year-old Brian Rebold as the two were in a holding cell, leaving him with a broken nose.  Rebold is accused of stabbing his mother in August of 2024.  Bayne is awaiting trial in three cases where he is charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment and other crimes.
