Annual stipends for Allegheny Township’s newly-elected supervisors will increase from $2500 to $4190 after a vote at a meeting held on New Year’s Eve. The Trib reports that the 2-1 vote approved the $1,690 adjustment to the annual compensation for new supervisors. Township Manager Dan Miller clarified that, for now, incoming Supervisor Frank Weissert will be the only elected official earning the $4,190 in 2026. Compensation for the other two will only increase if they run for and win their seats in this year’s election.
